I'm lying on the couch under a big quilt, with my one-year-old daughter curled up in my lap, where she's been sitting quietly and contentedly (and unprecedentedly) for the last half hour. My wife's reading a book at the other en of the couch, and we're all basking in the glow of a pumpkin pie breakfast.

Really doesn't get much better than this.
